Cystic Fibrosis

About Us

The Kaiser Permanente Northwest Cystic Fibrosis Center has been nationally accredited by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as a care center since 2018. We were an affiliate of OHSU from 2001 to 2018. We provide comprehensive care for pediatric and adult patients in the clinic, in the hospital, and during home infusion care. Our integrated health care system allows for same-day and next-day appointments in most cases as well as 24/7 access by phone. Our center adheres to all CF Foundation guidelines and reports data to the CF Foundation Registry.

Our team consists of 4 doctors, 1 family nurse practitioner, 1 respiratory therapist, 1 social worker, 1 registered dietitian, and 1 nurse. We also work with pharmacists to closely coordinate care. The Kaiser Permanente Northwest CF Center is also focused on quality improvement, continuing education, and clinical trials.

After-Hours Care

For urgent after-hours care, pediatric patients can call 503-652-2880 and ask for the CF provider on call to be paged. Adult patients can call regional advice at 503-813-2000 and will consult with specialists as needed. If you are sick, need urgent medical attention, and cannot reach someone by phone, please go to the nearest Kaiser Permanente urgent care or emergency room.
