Pharmacy and Equipment

You can request CF medications at any Kaiser Permanente pharmacy, but not all pharmacy locations will have CF medications readily available. Please allow those pharmacies several business days for medication requests. The pharmacy at the Kaiser Permanente East Interstate Medical Office has most of the CF medications available for same-day pickup.

7 days a week, including holidays
Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Prescription Requests:
You can request prescription in one of the following ways:

  • Online: Order medications online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at kp.org/pharmacy.First-time visitors will need to register on kp.org. Once you are registered, just sign in and order your prescriptions, which will come to your home by mail. You can also pick up your prescriptions at the Kaiser Permanente pharmacy of your choice. You can also use kp.org to email us and check most of your laboratory test results.
  • Automated telephone system: Call in your prescription refills anytime at the phone number highlighted on your prescription label.

Note: Pulmozyme cannot be ordered through the Kaiser Permanente mail-order pharmacy, because it needs to be refrigerated.

If you do not have any refills left on your current prescriptions, please contact your Kaiser Permanente pharmacy to request additional refills.

Durable Medical Equipment (DME)

Nebulizer:
If you have a nebulizer, please contact Kaiser Permanente DME to order cups, tubing, masks or filters:

  • We recommend replacing your nebulizer cup and mask every 6 months.
  • We recommend replacing your nebulizer compressor filter every 500 hours or if it appears gray, clogged, or wet. Check the filter every 10 to 12 treatments.

  • If you received the wrong equipment or supplies at home
  • If you need oxygen tank refills or nasal cannula replacements
  • If you have broken or malfunctioning equipment

Vest:
If your vest is not working properly or you need replacement parts (hoses, larger vest, etc.) for your vest system, please contact your vest manufacturer directly:
